EuroParc, an incomplete study of German & Dutch folks on holiday (Day 17 Netherlands)

Recovery day presented the opportunity to wander around the EuroParc for the cultural experience.

Rows of little prefab houses line orderly lanes arranged in tiny neighborhoods of similar prefabs.
It's eerily orderly. Perfect little houses. Perfect landscaping. Nothing amiss.
A couple of vacationing very pale guys sat out on their patio chairs in their tiny swim trunks, clearly intoxicated by the, uh, wonders of nature.

I continued on to be find the trail that Ann, a classmate, told me about to reach the little EuroParc beach. The path markings started as these two woven wooden fences then shifted to small footpath ropes.
Proof that I did, in fact, put my feet in the water even though fish live there.
The quaint beach ended at the boat access. Several folks took the opportunity of the great weather to bake in the sun. Some sort of young water fowl rested near the beach edge. I sat and wrote a few blog notes before heading back to my place for lunch and a nap.
I'm not sure if people use the little houses as bases for excursions or if they simply show up to hang out, read, or otherwise get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Personally, I enjoyed the slow day to unwind and let the learning abroad lessons marinate in my mind.

Next up: Moving between Nijmegen and Utrecht

Random pic of the day: The cutest toilet paper print thus far.
